Hitlerhoff
Genesis: Re-Created
A sermon, led by an accidental priest, delivers the Truth, which in every way purposefully misreads the bible and takes minor details to dizzying extremes. Told with pageantry and pomp plus cockney hip-hop; block-rocking, mega-club anthems; atonal opera for electronic organ and a cardboard choir.
“could be the surprise hit of the Midsumma festival, could be memorably awful”
John Bailey - The Age – January 2009
The Inferno
A completely derivative, post-modern reinventing of the first part of Dante's Divine Comedy. Set in a Casino. Dante is a hapless croupier. Ex-Premier of Victoria Jeff Kennet is the Devil. Grotesque Bananas in Pyjamas stand side by side with the Minotaur and a gypsy band.

Based in the 13 day turmoil of the Cuban Missile Crisis this physical theatre piece was created in order to comment on humanities obsession with its own end or 'apocalypse'. This was achieved by the characterisations of three 1960's housewives alongside the three male leaders responsible for the worlds near atomic end: Nikita Khruschev, J.F. Kennedy and Fidel Castro.

This was my first set design. Staged in an underground carpark, we devised an integrated lighting/set design based on the concept of a fragmented or dreamlike space with elements of contemporary prison cell. I was also a performer in the show.
